We make shopping for useful, high quality, mommy and baby products easy and accessible. We have door to door delivery services in Calgary, and we also bring our products to you with Exclusive Shopping Visits so you can see and test the products first hand. Our client’s are encouraged to understand our products and spend their money wisely. We have products made in Germany, Scotland, Denmark, United States and Canada.</p> <p><strong>What inspired you to become a Mom Entrepreneur?</strong></p> <p>I always thought parents returned to work after their 1 year maternity leave. I had a great job to return to; however, once my first baby was born I realized that my number one priority was to raise my children. I decided to find a way to continue to work and be a mom successfully. During my maternity leave I felt there was a need for shopping for baby products to become easier for new parents, new grandparents, and family and friends without children. With all of the new products available it is difficult to determine what is useful and needed. Connect Mommies + Babies was developed to make this process easier. </p> <p><strong>What will the $22,000 grand prize of cash and business advisory services allow your business to do?</strong></p> <p>If I were to win the 2010 SavvyMom Mom Entrepreneur of the Year Award I would use the prizes and services to bring my business to the next level by focusing on marketing. The mentorship, advice, services would be invaluable, especially with the recent launch of our online store. The prizes would allow us the ability to stimulate growth to advance us to the next stage in our business plan. </p>
