<p><strong>Please describe the product or service your business offers:</strong></p><p>Snugabell Mom & Baby Gear is in the business of designing and manufacturing fun and fashionable breastfeeding and pumping products and accessories. Our signature product, PumpEase, is the world's ONLY fashionable hands-free pumping bra. We have also just launched PumpEase Organic, the world's ONLY organic hands-free pumping bra. Now moms can read, write, text, talk on the phone, use a computer or tend to their baby ALL while pumping AND look and feel good while they’re at it! Our current product line is made with love in Vancouver, Canada and we have many more products on the way!</p><p><strong>What inspired you to become a Mom Entrepreneur?</strong></p><p>After we had our first daughter, I pumped so that my husband could take a feeding, which not only gave me a bit of a break, but more importantly gave him bonding time with her. After a few days of holding the double pump on my breasts and not being able to do anything else, I went online in search of a product that would do this on my behalf. I wasn't impressed by what I found - a few products that were expensive and quite frankly, ugly. With my 13 years experience in the apparel and sewn products industries, I knew I could design a better product and I knew it would be both functional AND pretty. Our company name, Snugabell, was inspired by our two girls, now 5 and 3 years old, who always ask for "snugs" not hugs and we are happy to oblige!</p><p><strong>What will the $22,000 grand prize of cash and business advisory services allow your business to do?</strong></p><p>The prize would enable us to finally hire a full-time admin person as well as to get help with our PR and marketing - both of which would help alleviate the challenges we’re facing in the “life balance” arena. Other plans include expanding the PumpEase product line and introducing a line of fashionable nursing tops under the Snugabell brand. Finally, we are a big fan of Shirley’s and would love to work with her in a mentor/mentee relationship.</p>
